Shipping Policy — JAPAN & BEYOND

Shipping Areas: Japan and international destinations (some regions may be unavailable due to international conditions or carrier restrictions)
1. Handling Time (Before Shipment)
- In-stock items: Shipped within 2–7 business days after you place your order
- Pre-order / made-to-order items: Approximately 1 week to 3 months (the estimate is shown on each product page; we may also contact you by email with details)
- Definition of “business days”: Weekdays excluding weekends, Japanese national holidays, and our designated store holidays
- Possible delays: Timing may vary due to customs procedures, weather, peak seasons, and carrier circumstances. If we become aware of an expected delay, we will contact you as soon as possible and may provide options such as alternative arrangements, split shipments, or cancellation (refund) handling (this does not constitute a promise to refund).
2. Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit Time (After Shipment)
- Domestic (Japan): courier / postal service, approx. 1–3 business days
- International: DHL / FedEx / EMS / Japan Post (air), approx. 3–14 business days
3. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and size.
Estimated range (for reference): Domestic JPY 700–1,500; International JPY 1,800–6,500 (varies by region/weight; remote area surcharges may apply).
If free shipping is offered: It applies to orders that meet the stated threshold; if no free-shipping setting exists, it does not apply.
4. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Customs Clearance Fees (International)
Customs duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees are the customer’s responsibility. For legal compliance, we do not alter declared values or mark shipments as “gifts.”
If an order is returned due to refusal of delivery, unpaid taxes/duties, an incorrect address, etc., a refund may be issued only if the returned item reaches our store (or an address designated by us) and is confirmed to be in resalable condition (e.g., unopened and unused). In such cases, we may refund the amount after deducting round-trip shipping, customs-related costs, and handling fees. If we cannot receive the returned item, or if it has been opened/used, shows signs of use, or is damaged, no refund will be issued. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
5. Tracking
A tracking number will be provided by email when your order ships (it may take a few hours to appear in the carrier’s system).
6. Incorrect Address / Missed Delivery / Returned-to-Sender
If delivery fails or an order is returned due to an incorrect address, expired holding period, or long absence, you will be responsible for the actual cost of reshipping.
Address changes can be made only before shipment.
7. Damage, Missing Items, or Loss
If your item arrives damaged or missing contents, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and include photos of (i) the outer box, (ii) internal packaging, (iii) the entire product, and (iv) the damaged area. After review, we will respond with an exchange or refund.
8. Orders Containing In-Stock and Pre-Order Items
As a general rule, we will ship the entire order together once all items are ready. If you request that in-stock items be shipped first, additional shipping fees may apply.
9. Packaging (Fragile Items such as Ceramics)
We may use recycled packaging materials. Fragile items are individually protected with cushioning and secured. As handmade items, ceramics may vary in color, glaze, and dimensions.
